Distribution and Habitat: Throughout South India, on dry slopes of Western Ghats
Botany: A scandent, pubescent or velvety shrub with grey- pubescent branchlets.
- Leaves: Trifoliate with two lower leaflets very small, central leaflets broadly ovate, acuminate or rounded, main nerves few inconspicuous, petioles very short.
- Flower: White, sweet scented many in trichotomous paniculate cymes, corolla lobes 5-8.
- Fruits: Globose, black.
Uses: Skin diseases especially for ring worm, burning sensation, cardiopathy, nephrolithiasis, dermatopathy
